The Poway News Chieftain ran an article about me today. Pat Kumpan, a writer for the newspaper, came out and talked to me about what I have been doing for breast cancer survivors since I am a survivor of breast cancer myself for the last 35 years. Pat is a wonderful person and fun to talk to. She even took a good photo of me to include with the article called "Neighbor Spotlight". Since October, my book "Look to the Sky" is being donated to people in need at the Manatee Breast Care Center in Florida - thanks to Carol. And, thanks to Danny's sister, Charlene, books are also being included in the Mira Mesa Women's Club "comfort pillows" that they hand sew and send all over the world. The "comfort pillows" are used to relieve discomfort after surgery. Please let me know if any family or friends would like to receive a copy of this article via email. I hope that my book will give other people hope that they too can be healed. Like my surgeon says "God works!"
